Volunteer for Washington Beach & River Cleanups

Washington’s coastline and river systems connect the Pacific Ocean, Puget Sound, and hundreds of waterways that support marine wildlife and coastal ecosystems. Unfortunately, plastic pollution and marine debris travel through these waters and often wash onto beaches and shorelines.

Ocean Blue Project organizes Washington beach cleanup and river cleanup volunteer opportunities to remove harmful debris before it enters the ocean.

Our programs bring together volunteers, students, conservation groups, and corporate teams to restore Washington’s coastal environments.
