This artistic piece aims to bring awareness to the widespread and intrusive nature of microplastics in our natural environment. With more than 660 marine species documented worldwide to be affected by plastics, starfish are an unlikely but unfortunate victim.

In the deep-sea, starfish were found to have traces microplastics in their digestive trac, with roughly 48% testing positive in sample populations. With 100% of net proceeds going directly towards our microplastic recovery program, the purchase of our Sea the Change shirt will support the removal of approximately 20 pounds of plastic from our oceans to help prevent further plastic pollution from harming our wildlife.
